At Stoney Point, the boardwalk makes penguin viewing a special treat. Of course, there are many other bird species to be viewed in the area. The walks, hikes, picnic spots and cycle routes in the Harold Porter Gardens and Kogelberg Reserve are spectacular. These wilderness areas form the central core of the Cape Floral Kingdom and are home to a huge range of flora & fauna species. The Palmiet River is also a favorite for swimming or canoeing. Betty’s Bay is centrally located with Cape Town, Cape Town International Airport, Hermanus & the Cape Wine lands all about 1 hours drive away. The Arabella & Kleinmond Golf Courses are 20 & 10 minutes drive away. Betty’s Bay, nestled between mountain & ocean is definitely a worthwhile holiday destination and a great place to get away from it all.
